Travel

Not everybody wants to book a package holiday with a tour operator! No matter if you want to arrange your holiday because you want flexibility in your dates, or if you just want the satisfaction of putting your own holiday together, just follow the steps below and you should have everything you need for your holiday.

There are five parts that will make up your holiday ...

1

Flights

You've got lots of options of where to book flights, but Sky Scanner is a really useful tool because it brings together prices from lots if airlines. Visit the flights page to search, and don't forget about carriers such as Easyjet and Ryanair. It's worth also looking at 'traditional' airlines including BMI or BA because they sometimes have good deals aswell! Most people tend to aim for Toulouse or Barcelona, other options include Reus, Girona, or Carcasonne.

2

Transfers

When you've arrived at your destination airport you've got several options: you can hire a car, book a shuttle transfer or book a private transfer. Have a look at the transfers page to get more information.

3

Accommodation

One of the most important decisions is where to stay, and first you should decide on the type of accommodation you want. You could rent a chalet or apartment, stay in a holiday apartment, or book in to a hotel. Once you have decided this you may have a choice of board basis be it self catering, bed & breakfast, half board (including evening meal) or some hotels offer a full board option with a packed lunch to take on the mountain. In addition to our apartments and hotels pages, we have a selection of prices & deals for this winter which you can book through us.

4

Ski Pack

Ski pack is the name for your rental equipment, lift pass, and lessons, with a variety of options to think about. By organising your ski pack independently you get to choose to include private lessons or group lessons, and save loads of money on your ski hire. You can book your ski pack items at our online shop.

5

Insurance

It's very important to not forget about taking out adequate travel insurance covering you for your trip. You need to ensure it covers you for winter sports and if you intend to take part in any 'hazardous activities' for example snowmobiling or heli-skiing make sure these activities are included aswell.

So that is your quick guide to arranging your own ski or snowboard holiday! Visit the different pages of our travel section and explore the different options available to you, and feel free to ask any questions or read the reviews on our forum. If you have questions about booking you can send us a message from the contact form.
